So, Seussical was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had. The last time I was in The Seussical, I felt like I didn't matter. That was because I didn't. But, in this production, I felt like I actually made a difference. That was because I did. I loved spreading the magic of imagination with so many people.

I am going to try to explain the closing night:

Our cast meeting was very inspiring. I really felt the Spirit during Mr. Bauer's final talk to us.
When I was performing the first number, the colors of everything on the stage was so much brighter than I remember them being. I seemed to appreciate every little move I did a lot more than I originally had.
It didn't really hit me that it was last time I would ever doing all of these numbers until, really, Solla Sollew. I realized that it would be the last time I would ever look up to Michael Allen as Horton up on Mayzie's nest. I was just overcome with sadness. Then, I was filled with the Spirit. I felt that I was going to be ok with it being over.
After the show was over, Chante came up to me and just said, "June, I really need a hug right now." And me being me, I hugged her. When I pulled away she had one tear coming down her cheek. After that, I hugged her tighter and with more love than before. When we were on our own, I asked her if she had said a prayer yet. She said, "Why didn't you suggest this before?" After the prayer, her tears still continued, but I felt like the Spirit was more in her than It was before. The relationship between Chante and I grew the most during this musical. During our pre-show ritual that day, it was very hard realize that it was our last one for this year.

Try to find me...

The Seussical was also a crazy time for me becuase I got no sleep at all. Especially Closing Night. What happened after we cleaned up is the cast went to ihop. It was fun. I went for only a little bit. I was in the car with Spencer. I rode in shot-gun. and after ihop, we went to Tasha's house. We watched Horton Hears a Who. Which is kind of like the movie to the musical we were doing. I got home at 12:15. I got to bed at 1:something. It was so fun. I really miss the Seussical. It was such a great experience. Now, to prepare for the audition for The Beggar's Opera, the spring play. I can't wait.

I am in the Seussical... again. i'm the same part as last time. an animal. but, it is more fun this time. i like it a lot more at provo high than it was at centennial. for one, they have more than one song with the whos in it. for two, i get to be way more things: a hunch, an animal, water/fish. the dancing is way more fun, too.  i like being in plays/musicals at provo high. they are the best. they have an awesome director. because mr. bauer is awesome. i feel more apart of a cast. not just a part in a cast. that's always a good feeling.
